Frequently Asked Questions

Fastfix Mobile repair services offer a number of advantages of most traditional automotive repair shops.
  • Convenience - No need to try to get your vehicle towed to our shop, we come to where your vehicle is!  Plus we offer online payments and online appointments for your ease and convenience.
  • Confidence -You can be assured that your car is being worked on immediately instead of sitting in their parking lot for a week before they get around to looking at it.
  • Affordable - Mobile Repair companies have less overhead, so this can be reflected in our hourly rate.
  • Personalised service - you are in direct contact with both our administration staff and mechanics who are professional and proficient at each of their jobs.  We keep you informed of your repairs and keep you involved in the process with clear communication so that there are no unpleasant surprises when you get your bill.
Fastfix charges $65 per hour for our mechanic's time. We do not charge for travel time to/from your car, but we do charge a one hour minimum charge to come to your car and diagnose / fix your car's problem.  So, if the issue is fixed in 10 minutes, the charge will be $65, plus any charges for parts.  The $65 charge would be the same as if the 10 minute service takes 55 minutes.
Fastfix allows you to pay by card over the phone or online on our website.  We also allow you to pay by bank transfer to our Butterfield account or by cash at our office.
Fastfix does all sorts of mechanical and electrical repairs on practically all types of vehicles, with the exception of transmission or engine rebuilds.
Fastfix will go to service vehicles anywhere in Grand Cayman.  Unfortunately, we do not operate in the sister islands at this time.
